The Tiger was a powerful German heavy tank used during World War II. It was designed in response to the successes of the Soviet T-34 tanks and the American Shermans. The Tiger I was known for its very thick armor shield, which provided excellent protection against enemy shells.

The Tiger in the latest Ausf. E version has been reproduced with attention to detail in a 1:28 scale. It features movable elements such as a turret and cannon, as well as rotating wheels and tracks. It is distinguished from the other Tigers in our collection by the wheels, suspension, and colors characteristic of this late-war version. The elaborate assembly consists of 1,207 elements and faithfully reflects the original shapes of its historical inspiration. We've also used a completely new drive wheel here. Furthermore, the turret construction is completely different and closely resembles the original, skillfully mimicking the interior elements. The set includes a miniature model of the Maybach engine, which can be displayed next to the model or placed on the tank beneath the service hatch. The model has movable wheels and multi-link tracks. The tank ammunition included in the set can be placed inside the vehicle. The hatches function perfectly, and beneath them there's room for standard COBI figures.
