The IS-2 tank was developed in 1943 as a successor to the earlier models of heavy tanks serving with the Red Army. Its crew consisted of four people. The main armament was a 122 mm gun that could penetrate the armor of the best German tanks such as the Tiger and Panther. The IS-2 played an important role in the Battle of Berlin, where it contributed to the final defeat of the Third Reich.

The mini model made with COBI building blocks was designed at a scale of 1:72 and consists of 130 high-quality elements. Once built, the tank measures 12 cm long. Despite its compact size, the model retains all the most important features of its historical inspiration. Printed markings and characteristic white stripes on the sides of the vehicle indicate its participation in "Operation Berlin." The tank's turret is movable and can be rotated. The cannon also moves up and down.
