The Sd. Kfz. 251 half-track armored personnel carrier in the 2-in-1 version has been faithfully reproduced using COBI building blocks. During construction, you can equip it with a Pak 36 cannon or two MG 34 machine guns! There are no stickers here; we only use high-quality, durable prints. The vehicle has movable wheels with real tires. The tracks, consisting of realistic block links, work and behave like the real thing when the vehicle is moving. Openable rear doors, two machine guns, a cannon, and additional accessories make playing with the transporter even more fun. The whole set is complemented by figures. The first shows an infantryman in a long coat. The second figure is a panzer grenadier. The soldiers are equipped with a helmet, a block imitating a gas mask and canteen, carrying straps for weapons, an MP 40 submachine gun, a Panzerfaust anti-tank grenade launcher, and a Mauser rifle. The set was developed with attention to detail and is also a great extension of the popular Historical Collection.

Creative Fun

The Sd.Kfz.251 was the basic half-track armored personnel carrier of the German Army during World War II. Production of several versions has been ongoing since 1939.
Other combat vehicles were also built on its basis. It was produced in four production models, A through D, and 23 basic and many field versions, of which the standard and most numerous was the Sd.Kfz.251/1 armored personnel carrier. The armored hull was made of welded armor plates. The front end ended behind the driver's position.
It protected the driver, the commander, and the engine. The open-topped fighting compartment could accommodate 10 soldiers. Large, outward-opening rear doors provided access to the interior.
